Most fires start small. With the right conditions a fire can spread out of control in a matter of minutes and become a major disaster.
If you discover a fire, immediately and cautiously size-up the situation. If the fire looks small enough to be put out with available extinguishers, do so, but never underestimate the danger. If you're not sure you can handle it, let the Fire Department do it.
