TERS Response Vehicle

Question: Is TERS a franchise?

Answer: TERS is not a franchise; TERS is an independent science-based company that uses only in-house professionals, equipment and knowledge. We believe that a franchise concept cannot work in the field of restoration or environment that requires years of experience and knowledge, which cannot be distributed through franchise networks. Do you want a “fast food” company to restore your house?

Question: Many companies have nice websites with proud boasts and a lot of experience, but how do I know if it’s true? Some websites also promise you can do it yourself with specialized equipment.

Answer: Many companies have impressive, colorful websites, but this does not guarantee they truly have the experience or the breadth of knowledge and capabilities that we offer. One should always ask for credentials, proven experience, and the qualifications of the staff prior to hiring an “expert”. Only testing by a professional expert can uncover the extent of the damage and the restoration action needed. Your health is too important to take a chance on an advertised gadget. Would you use a housekeeping company for environmental work? We have many years of expertise in indoor-air-quality testingfire damage repairwater damage cleanup, and disaster restoration, providing service in in New York City, New York (NY), New Jersey (NJ), Pennsylvania (PA), and Connecticut (CT).

Question: Some companies offer to fog our house, is this good?

Answer: Fogging any materials into the house can be very dangerous to the building structure and significantly increase the level of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) in your indoor environment. TERS uses only GREEN methods; we are a chemical free company!
